FAMILY FRIENDLY CHICKEN FRIED RICE

Ready in minutes, this easy chicken fried rice recipe is suitable for the whole family. Inspired by Chinese cuisine, it combines any leftover chicken and vegetables you may have with a pouch of Tilda Golden Vegetable rice and a bit of soy sauce to enhance the flavour.

  • 2 Pouches Golden Vegetable Rice
  • 2 tbsps. vegetable oil or stir fry oil
  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • 100g button mushrooms, cut in half
  • 50g green beans, cut in half
  • Soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce to taste
  • Finely chopped parsley to garnish

How to make FAMILY FRIENDLY CHICKEN FRIED RICE

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan or wok and add the chicken. Fry for 5-7 minutes until cooked and golden brown

  2. Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes. Drain and add to the chicken together with the mushrooms. Fry for 2 – 3 minutes to soften

  3. Heat the Tilda Golden Vegetable Rice in the microwave for 1 minute and add to the stir fry mix. Add a dash of soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce depending on your families taste

  4. Serve piping hot with a sprinkle of parsley
