No roast is complete without this perfectly fluffy, crispy, British staple.
This recipe uses:
Classic Organic Rice MLK
Preheat the oven to 220c.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and the rice milk until foamy. Then mix in the flour and salt to make a smooth batter. Let this sit for 10 minutes – 15 minutes to reach room temperature.
Whilst the batter is settling, add the oil to a non-stick muffin tin and pre heat the oil until its slightly smoking, approximately 5 – 6 minutes. Once ready, give the batter a stir and pour the batter into the tins.
Place the tin immediately back into the oven. Cook for 20 minutes until well risen and golden brown.
Serve as soon as possible. (And fill with gravy for best enjoyment.)
