Prawns lightly coated in coconut and spice crisp beautifully in the air fryer, and Tilda Coconut Basmati provides a fragrant, tropical base that makes the dish feel fresh and indulgent.
This recipe uses:
Coconut Basmati Rice 250g
(Or, try it with: Pure Steamed Basmati Rice 250g )
In a bowl, mix the prawns, mustard, turmeric, cinnamon, nigella seeds and grated coconut together. Set aside and marinade for 10 -15 minutes.
Add your 250g pre-cooked rice (or 1 pouch of Tilda Coconut Basmati rice), diced onion, chopped green chilli, rice milk and marinated prawn mix to your non-stick pan and mix well.
Place the pan into the air frier and set to 180c with a 20-minute cooking time.
When ready, give the rice a stir and serve with a slice of lime, coriander, and more green chilli for extra heat.
