Crispy Salt and Pepper Tofu made with golden fried tofu, aromatic spices, and fresh chilies. A quick, flavourful vegan dish perfect for weeknight dinners or appetizers.
This recipe uses:
Chinese Special Fried Rice 250g
Pat dry the tofu pieces. Mix together the cornflour, salt, pepper and sesame seeds. Coat each piece of tofu in the cornflour mix until evenly coated.
Add the oil to a large frying or griddle pan and heat. Add the Tofu pieces and cook until golden brown all over about 3-4 minutes each side
Combine all the dip ingredients and mix well
Heat the rice according to pack instructions and serve with the Tofu
Sprinkle over coriander and serve with the dipping sauce
