INDONESIAN TUNA FRIED RICE

Filling and delicious, this is the ultimate Indonesian tuna fried rice recipe to use your pantry staples: tuna, sweet corn, soy sauce and Tilda rice.

  • 1 pouch Tilda Pure Basmati Rice
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • 1 Thai chili, deseeded, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tsbp ginger, finely grated
  • 1 small can sweet corn, drained
  • 1 can tuna chunks in water, drained
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

How to make INDONESIAN TUNA FRIED RICE

  1. Heat the oil in a large non-stick frying pan and sauté the green onions and chili for 5 minutes over a medium heat, stirring occasionally. Reserve some of the green onion and chili for garnish.

  2. Add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

  3. Heat the rice according to the package instructions and stir into the onion and chili mix

  4. Stir in the sweet corn, tuna and soy sauce
