How to cook Basmati Rice

What’s great about our Tilda Pure Basmati Rice that it is so simple to cook. In partnership with MOB Kitchen, we’ve made this easy to follow video, to help you cook perfect fluffy Basmati rice time and time again.

How to

 

Step 1

Add 1 cup of Tilda Pure Basmati to a bowl and cover with water and soak for 20 minutes.


Step 2

Drain and rinse with cold water then add 2 measures of water to one measure of dry rice to the pan.


Step 3

Bring to the boil and simmer for 10-12 minutes. Remove lid and leave to stand for 5 minutes.


Step 4

Lightly fork through grains and serve.
