How to cook Basmati Rice

What’s great about our Tilda Pure Basmati Rice is that it’s so simple to cook. In partnership with MOB Kitchen, we’ve made this easy-to-follow video, to help you cook perfect fluffy Basmati rice time and time again.

How to

Step 1

Add 1 cup of Tilda Pure Basmati to a bowl, cover with water and soak for 20 minutes.


Step 2

Drain and rinse with cold water, then add two measures of water to one measure of dry rice to the pan.


Step 3

Bring to the boil and simmer for 10–12 minutes. Remove lid and leave to stand for 5 minutes.


Step 4

Lightly fork through the grains and serve.
