Accessibility statement for Tilda

This accessibility statement applies to the https://www.tilda.com/ website.

This website is run by Tilda. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

How accessible this website is

The accessibility evaluation of this site reveals several significant barriers impacting users with disabilities. Notably:

  • many interactive elements are not accessible to keyboard, making navigation challenging for keyboard users and those relying on assistive technologies
  • various issues arise from insufficient colour contrast, both for text and interactive components, posing challenges for users with low vision or colour blindness
  • missing or incorrect alternative (alt) text, and ARIA attribute misapplications, lead to either redundant or missing information for screen readers
  • headings, lists, and forms are, in several places, poorly structured or use non-semantic markup, likely resulting in confusion for users of assistive technology
  • visual cues alone are often used to convey information – for example error states on forms
  • zooming in on content frequently leads to lost information or functionality introducing barriers for people with low vision and those using.

These issues combined may present significant accessibility barriers. These issues are being proactively worked on by Tilda as part of their commitment to providing an accessible experience for their users.
