With his expertise in balancing tradition with innovation, chef Cyrus is passionate that the right rice makes all the difference, especially when it comes to one of his signature Biryani dishes, where Tilda’s Basmati plays a huge role. He says, “for our Biryani, we only use Tilda rice because we think it works best.” With an appreciation for quality and consistency, Cyrus values Tilda’s products for their reliable performance, fluffy and separated texture and the ability to absorb bold and diverse flavours.
Beyond his kitchen, Cyrus is also founder of Zest Quest Asia – a culinary competition sponsored by Tilda and designed to demonstrate student competitors’ expertise, culinary talent and appreciation of Asian cuisine. The prize each year boasts an all expenses, educational paid trip to an Asian destination.
