Today, an estimated 119 million girls are out of school worldwide. Mary’s Meals Her Education initiative encourages all children to attend school, with girls making up 50% of their global programme, ensuring they have access to vital education that could help lift them out of poverty.
Meet Mantasha, one of the students supported by Mary’s Meals following a challenging childhood. With the charity’s support, she now has the hope of achieving her dreams of building a school and teaching there now she has access to education and food – facilitating change for future generations of girls just like her.
