Main Responsibilities:

A new role within operations and supply chain to support the management team through data gathering and analysis. Including the analysis of costs and operational data (e.g. yields), the development of regular management reports and KPIs, project management support and identifying improvement opportunities, with the overall aim of improving performance and effectiveness across operations and supply chain.

To work collaboratively with the Operations and Supply Chain management team across both sites with the following responsibilities:-

  • To develop data gathering, analytical and reporting capabilities across operations and supply chain, including sharing best practice, consistency of reporting across sites and functions, simplifying and where possible automating data collection and putting forward improvement ideas. Examples of areas of involvement include:
  • Manufacturing yields
  • Continuous improvement initiatives
  • Operations performance
  • Logistics
  • To provide support with the analysis of costs; including
  • Assisting managers with cost/spend reviews
  • Support finance with the provision of cost information at SKU level for cost cards
  • Assisting managers with the development and analysis of budgets
  • To develop and provide routine reports for the management team which will include:
  • Monitoring and reviewing performance against KPIs
  • Reviewing Continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives
  • To provide project management support
  • Tracking and reporting on progress on projects

Managing and running projects/initiatives

37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Key Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to offer insight into data and costs
  • Good understanding of operations and supply chain
  • 2-3 years working in a similar role within operations/supply chain
  • Very strong Excel ability, Formulas & Pivot tables, and able to present data in a clear manner
  • Strong Administrational Skills
  • Excellent (other) Microsoft Office Skills
  • Experience of JD Edwards or another ERP system is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, including written communication
