Adem\u00e1s, es una excelente fuente de prote\u00ednas, carbohidratos y fibra.<\/p>\n<p>Gracias a sus m\u00faltiples beneficios, la quinoa puede mejorar muchas dietas. No contiene gluten, por lo que es fabulosa para las personas cel\u00edacas, incluye amino\u00e1cidos esenciales que ayudan en las dietas vegetarianas y veganas, y su \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico es bajo, por lo que resulta ideal para quienes padecen diabetes. Incluso para las personas que no tienen requisitos sobre alimentaci\u00f3n concretos, la quinoa es magn\u00edfica porque ayuda a prolongar la sensaci\u00f3n de saciedad.<\/p>\n<p>La quinoa se prepara como el arroz. Debe enjuagarse antes de su uso para eliminar su revestimiento natural, llamado saponina, que puede aportarle un sabor un poco m\u00e1s amargo. A la hora de cocinarla, pon a hervir el doble de agua que de quinoa, t\u00e1pala, d\u00e9jala cocer a fuego lento durante 15 minutos aproximadamente o hasta que el germen se separe de la semilla. El germen cocinado debe quedar un poco al dente. La textura de la quinoa es esponjosa y tiene un sabor ligeramente a nueces. Cuando se cocina, el tama\u00f1o de la quinoa se multiplica por cuatro y se hace pr\u00e1cticamente transparente.<\/p>\n<p>La versatilidad y el delicioso sabor de la quinoa har\u00e1n que incorporarla a tu dieta te resulte sencillo. F\u00e1cil y r\u00e1pida de preparar, combina bien con los platos de arroz y fr\u00eda en ensaladas. Puedes utilizarla como sustituto para preparar unas gachas sin gluten y servirla caliente con leche, frutas deshidratadas y un chorrito de miel.
